Located on the Nicoya Península, Santa Teresa, Nantipa Hotel is a stunning property located in a prime beachfront location! The resort only has 15 luxurious bungalows and suites, giving the rest an exclusive and intimate feel. The resort aims to blend world-class luxury with classic Costa Rican hospitality!
The resort itself is just a stone’s throw from the surf and with around 150m of beachfront access! The resort has an international standard restaurant onsite, a large pool, and many activities for non-surfers to enjoy!
Waves at Nantipa Hotel
The waves around Santa Teresa offer surf for all levels. Playa Santa Teresa offers up quality beach break waves, which with the right swell can produce barrels for advanced surfers. Nearby Playa Hermosa also has great beach breaks for all levels. The area also has a range of point breaks for more advanced surfers!
Usually, you can surf year-round in Costa Rica with the largest SW swells arriving in the wet season of May – October. Throughout the dry season on December – April, consistent smaller swells are to be expected. Generally, there are a lot of light wind days, meaning lots of glassy surf!
The Rooms
Nantipa Hotel has only 15 beautifully designed and well furnish bungalows and suites for your stay. The accommodation is scattered across 2.3 hectares (5.7 acres) of land with 155 meters of unique beachfront access.
Surrounded by carefully landscaped flora to preserve privacy, every unit is equipped with climate controls, flat SMART TVs with cable, with streaming capabilities (NETFLIX and YouTube ready), a working desk, a small dining table and chairs, hammocks, Wi-Fi, and a minibar.

Nanku Suite
The Nanku Suites are perfect for small families or groups. They offer a separate sleeping area with either one king bed or two queen beds, and a large living room space with two twin daybeds. A large bathroom and terrace or balcony complete the unit, making it the perfect home setting to relax after a long day of adventures.
Ninta Pool View
The Ninta Pool View bungalows are made up of 80 sqm of luxury space including an ample terrace, a private 3.5 x 3.5 m plunge pool, hammock, king bed and double indoor/outdoor shower. Our floor to ceiling glass doors open to poolside views, making Ninta ideal for a memorable honeymoon or just a romantic getaway surrounded by raw nature and the hypnotic sound of the ocean.
Ninta Beachfront

The Cuisine
Nantipa’s Restaurant (Manzú) is located on the beach, with direct views of the ocean and sunset. The main dining area features 15 tables that easily accommodate up to 50 guests, in a very cosy, inviting and relaxed ambience.
Mixology experts from the Mulberry Project have prepared creative and unique cocktails featuring Costa Rica’s tropical fruits and local liqueurs, inviting visitors to mingle, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty.
