The Resort
Komune Resort can be found on Bali’s East Coast. This area is generally quieter than the west and offers beautiful ocean views over Nusa Penida backed by the imposing Mount Agung. The resort offers spacious and very comfortable beachfront accommodation which is perfect for couples, families, and solo travelers.
The resort centres around their large beachfront pool which is perfect for relaxing beside whilst watching the surf. Here you’ll find Komune Beachclube serving up hearty western and Indonesian dishes throughout the day! All of which overlooks Keramas, arguably the best righthander on the island!
Waves at Komune Resort
Komune Resort overlooks one of Bali’s best waves, the world-famous, Keramas. Regularly featured on the world circuit, Keramas has an enviable reputation for wide-open barrels, perfect walls, and big air sections. There is no wonder people keep returning here!
The East Coast of Bali has loads of other great waves which are all easily reachable from the resort within 30 minutes drive. Generally, the biggest swells are in the dry season when early mornings offer the best conditions. In the Wet season, swells are smaller but glassy conditions are more common!

Overlooking the Lombok Strait, Nusa Lembongan and, of course, the world-famous Keramas surf break, our five-star Bali beachfront accommodation is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the ocean from your own pool. Each waterfront Suite features a private pool with lounger, waterfall shower and deep soak tub.
Beachside Villa
Hotel Komune’s luxury villas are the ideal accommodation style for those seeking a little privacy and indulgence on their Bali holiday. Both 1 and 2 bedroom villas are available, or they can be joined into one 3 bedroom villa, perfect for group bookings or family trips. Each villa has a private pool, lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, and relaxing deep soak tub.
Family Suite
The family suites at our beach resort are designed for families with children and couples seeking more space during their stay in Bali. Each room features a luxury queen size bed and separate living area with fold out sofa bed – perfect for a small child. As well as a private ensuite with shower plus a range of inclusions to make your stay comfortable and kid-friendly. The suite rooms also offer additional features including a pillow menu, evening turndown service, a retracting TV console and outdoor seating.
