The Hotel
The hotel is located in La Libertad, between El Sunzal and El Tunco. Casa Sunzal is an authentic boutique hotel offering unique space surrounded by the lush tropical jungle of El Salvador.

Waves at Casa Sunzal
Casa Sunzal is located a 5 min walk to the famous wave of El Sunzal, and just a 2 min drive to the town of El Tunco and La Bocana surf spot.
March to May is the end of the dry season and the most consistent time of the year with clean waves and solid swells. From June to October, El Salvador’s coastline gets the largest swells of the year, originated from the South Pacific’s swells. November and December get slightly smaller swells around 4 -6ft waves, very clean and perfectly peeling over the pointbreak, with offshore winds allowing perfect surfing conditions all day long. January and February see small waves, perfect to learn how to surf!
Besides Surfing El Sunzal or El Tunco the guests can enjoy the other wave in La Libertad region, including Punta Roca, La Paz, Zonte, K59, and K61. AST guides are well-experienced local surfers that have all the knowledge of El Salvador coastline.
The Suites
Casa Sunzal features five luxury suites each with an authentic personality and unique design. Each suite is equipped with a private jacuzzi and outdoor showers, desk, dressing table, and air conditioning.
The master suite comes with a large private patio and the other four suites have a large balcony overlooking the lush garden of the property, offering the perfect space to unwind and relax.

Casa Sunzal has a delicious restaurant service with mouth-watering meals combining the authentic flavors of the local ingredients.
The chefs have created exquisite gastronomic dishes combining Salvadorian traditional cuisine and fusion cuisine in order to satisfy all tastes and experiences a world-class quality meals.
