The Boat

SurfBoat.Pro uses Blue Shark 1, a great value surf charter measuring 29 m in length and 9 m in width. This is a well-sized charter with space for up to 14 travelers on board. Blue Shark 1 has the capability to cruise up to 12 knots and is really great value for money for the price.

Guests are accommodated across 9 ensuite guest cabins (all with twin beds). The charter features several spacious outdoor areas and deck chairs with sunshades available.

Blue Shark 1 has a large air-conditioned indoor area and a cozy salon in which all meals will be provided as a buffet. The salon features a LCD 40” TV, Hi-Fi System, and DVD player, perfect for chilling after surfing Maldivian perfection all day!

The Surf

The Maldives is renowned worldwide for its perfect tropical surf. SurfBoat.Pro runs shared charters in the remote Southern Atolls. This region is the furthest from the capital, Male, with some of the country’s most consistent waves.

With loads of quality waves in the area, there is tons of variety! Tiger Stripes – fun, consistent left, Love Charms – a mechanical lefthander, 2-ways – beginner-friendly a frame peak, 5 Islands – classy righthander, Antiques – beginner-friendly right and Blue Bowls – ultra-consistent right-hander), you’ll be spoilt for choice. For the more advanced surfer, there is a real gem in the right conditions!

Accommodation

Blue Shark 1 accommodates guests in 9 guest cabins that can accommodate up to 18 persons. The charter recommends a maximum of 14 for overall comfort onboard.

All cabins have individually controlled air conditioners and ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold water. The cabins are comfortable and spacious, perfect to sleep in after a long day surfing!

The charter has a large restaurant, bar, and lounge area with loads of space to accommodate groups. Throughout the charter are various sun decks and loads of space to relax!

Food

All trips onboard Blue Shark 1 are fully catered, with the team serving up 3 chef-prepared meals per day. Perfect for refueling hungry surfers after a day chasing waves!

The charter serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with snacks being available throughout the day so you’ll always be well-fueled for the next session. If you have any dietary requirements or preferences, please let us know prior to boarding and the charter will be able to accommodate you!

The charter also has a well-stocked bar, with alcoholic drinks being available onboard (chargeable locally).
