Located in ultra-consistent North Male, Club Med Kani offers a range of accommodations and direct access to Ninja’s. This is a fun right-hander and the other North Male waves can be reached via surf transfers!
The Resort
Club Med Kani sits in the North Male Atoll, just a short-speed boat transfer from the international airport. The resort is located on its own private island, surrounded by turquoise waters and fringed with white-sand beaches.
The resort offers a wide range of accommodations to suit all travelers, from beach villas to overwater suites. Offering an all-inclusive package, Club Med Kani allows you to relax, eat, drink, and enjoy without worrying about prices. Kids will be happy with a great kids club and a wide range of activities!
Waves at Club Med Kani
Clube Med Kani is located in the North Male Atolls. This is the classic surf area in the Maldives and receives incredibly consistent surf in the peak season months of April to October. Outside of these months, smaller surf is available.
Onsite, you have access to Ninja’s, an intermediate-friendly right-hander. This is a great spot to improve your surfing within paddling distance of the resort.
Other waves in the area include Cokes, a perfect righthander that can serve up great barrels. Chickens, a classy lefthander, running over a well-covered reef, expect long walls and the occasional cover-up. Sultans, a world-class right-hander that works in any size! Jailbreaks, the intermediates dream, a perfect right breaking over a well-covered reef. Honky’s is another great left, breaking off the same island as Sultans. These are reachable using the resort’s surf transfers (payable onsite).

Superior Room – Beachfront
29 – 42 m². All of these ground and first floor rooms have a view out over the lagoon. Spread throughout the island, their decor is inspired by the colours of the sea, with turquoise headboards. Interconnecting rooms available.
Superior Room – Garden Side
28 m². In the heart of the garden island, our single storey bungalows have rooms that are perfect for couples with one child. Enjoy the terrace and extra space. The colours used echo those of the lagoon. Interconnecting rooms available.
Deluxe Room – Beachfront Terrace
38 – 42 m². From your beachfront room, hear the siren’s call of the infinite blue waters. Head to the beach directly from the expansive wood terrace off your room. The outdoor open-air shower invites you to become one with nature in total privacy.
Overwater Suite – Panoramic View
98 m². his Suite catches the eye with its fisherman’s hut design. The bathroom looks out over the lagoon, while all-new interior design features dark wood to bring out the magic of the Maldives.

The Cuisine
The resort offers 3 restaurants: The Vehli, The Kandu, and The Kaana. The Vehli offers European and Asian flavours, in a refreshing open-air setting. The Kandu, set in the shade of the lagoon is a relaxed yet refined dining experience for all the senses. Kaana is open throughout the day for light bites and refreshments.
