The Resort

Located in the town of Chicama, overlooking the bay, Chicama Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the world’s longest surfable lefthander in comfort and style. With a total of 20 rooms, the resort is well laid out and has a variety of room options.

The onsite restaurant serves up great tasting Peruvian and international dishes with a sea view over the bay. Relax beside the infinity pool, take a dip in the jacuzzi or wind down with a cocktail at sunset, the resort will cater for you every need once you’re finished surfing! Onsite there is also a spa, Yoga/Meditation area, bar and a gym, everything you could need for an invigorating trip!

Waves at Chicama Boutique Hotel

The star of the show is the world’s longest lefthand wave, a 4km long point breaking over boulders and sand. The wave has multiple sections along its length with the longest being an approximately 1km long section named El Point. Most surfers make the 20 min walk from the village to surf this ultra-long leg burner of a wave! Due to the currents, the paddle back is very tough, with Chicama Boutique Hotel offering a tow back service, so you can get more waves in, without battling with the current! The peak months to score this wave are March to November.

Outside of the months, there are loads of other waves to surf, Huanchaco (A-frame similar to Trestles – a sectioning wave mainly left, breaking over a pier and other beach breaks. The hotel organises daily guided surf trips to other waves in the area throughout the year!

Accommodation

All the rooms at Chicama Boutique Hotel are spacious and comfortable, perfect to retire to after a long day of surfing! The Garden View and Seaview Rooms can be taken as single, double or triple occupancy. All rooms are ensuite and come with their own private terrace or balcony for you to enjoy.

The hotel has a beautiful infinity pool, overlooking the bay, a fully stocked gym, a yoga and meditation area, a bar and restaurant for you to enjoy. The team on site will do anything that they can to accommodate any traveler requests!

The Cuisine

Chicama Boutique hotels restaurant offers spectacular ocean views. The restaurant’s architecture is an ode to the houses built in the 1940s in Peru´s famous coastal towns. At the bar, travelers can enjoy the best local cocktails, made with the best spirits. The restaurant’s menu is diverse, catering to all tastes. It includes seafood, local dishes, pasta, and vegetarian options prepared with the best local ingredients.
