The Sibon Jaya is the large and more luxurious big brother of the Sibon Baru. The Sibon Jaya was built in 2015, a 70-foot Aluminum Powered Catamaran with 4 privates suites and 1 big cabin on the top. The charter offers air conditioning for all indoor space, keep you cool and comfortable.
The Sibon Jaya is powered by Twin Cummins QSB 6.7 main engines and takes power from 4 x solar panels. This is a great charter for groups and solo travelers looking for a luxurious and fast charter!
The Boat
The Sibon Jaya was built in 2015, a 70-foot Aluminum Powered Catamaran with 4 privates suites and 1 big cabin on the top. The charter offers air conditioning for all indoor space, keep you cool and comfortable. The charter is capable of accomodating up to 12 guests and accepts solo travelers!
The Sibon Jaya is powered by Twin Cummins QSB 6.7 main engines and takes power from 4 x solar panels. The large indoor space is well designed and can fit all guests whilst eating. Up on deck are multiple spots to relax with loads of storage for boards and equipment. Being a catamaran means the Jaya can cruise quickly and get between spots as fast as possible!
The Surf
The Mentawais are like no other island chain in the world. With such a high concentration of world-class waves and incredible consistency, the area has been drawing traveling surfers since the 1980’s when the first pioneers discovered this treasure trove of perfection.
From perfect peeling points, to heavy slabbing barrels, high-performance air waves and chilled longboard spots, the Mentawai Islands has something to offer everyone! The peak months of May – September offer regular larger surf, with the months either side offering consistent perfect with lower crowds!
It is a right of passage for every surfer to experience Mentawai perfection at least once!
Accommodation
The Sibon Jaya offers comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests, split across 4 private cabins and 1 larger cabin on the top deck. All beds are single bunks with all rooms having air conditioning. There are shared toilets and showers with an extra toilet in the shared living quarters.
The dining area is well designed and offers a level of luxury not usually found on Menatawi charters. All meals are served here, with enough space for all guests inside. On deck, the charter has loads of space to chill and there is plenty of space for boards and equipment!
Food
The crew onboard Sibon Jaya know how important food is on a surf trip, they will always make sure that you’re fueled and ready for your next surf. Onboard you will receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all served in the dining area.
The package includes snacks and fruits as well as drinking water, isotonic, hot drinks, juices, soft drinks, and 24 beers per person! Beers are transferable between the crew for those who don’t drink. Let us know if you pan to drink a lot and extra alcohol can be arranged for cost price in Padang!
